Céline Meier, is a swiss-based photographer who grew up in Liechtenstein. In her personal work she is able to inspire herself for different topics that touch social and cultural issues but also scientific areas. For her projects she finds it important to speak to the people who are right at the core of the issue, get to know their stories and dive into some research. She often combines her research-based, documentary approach with visual abstractions, archival material or self-written texts. Interested in various media like photography, videography, text-image combinations and installations, she wants to think photography further to show stronger connections, give a deeper insight and drive storytelling further.
