Due to a change in the law, Liechtenstein has experienced a rapid development of the casino industry in recent years. The casino boom, which was disproportionate to the size of the country, led to fierce political and social controversies among the population. Glitzern durch den Nebel // Glittering Through the Fog aims to reveal a new perspective on the casino cosmos through abstractions of individual elements and to deconstruct the film world's stereotypical casino image of glamour and prestige. In a publication the visual journey through Liechtenstein's casinos is contrasted by selected newspaper articles and interview quotes.
