Thomas A. Rando is a video portrait of Tom Rando, a neurologist, stem cell biologist and 2022 Nomis Awardee. Through his research, he seeks to discover how and why stem cells respond to signals from their environment to maintain or repair tissue. The film gives an insight into his research topic and explores the questions of what drives him in his research and how he balances his intense daily life. The film was commissioned by the NOMIS Foundation.
